Your picking skills ate great sounds fantastic is it a martin
It's a Zager guitar 👍
Could this also be used with modes with notes from the D major or minor or any other D scale?
On this it says, Buy super thanks , how much?
that’s a UA-cam thing that people can donate money.👍
Great tips! It surprises me how many people who have been playing for years don't follow these tips!
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you, Tim. Yes, I agree.
Shouldnt that thumb be sticking out much more in order not to collide with the finger? (Knopfler?)
as long as they don’t collide, it doesn’t matter how far apart they are. In fact, economy of movement says it should be the least amount of movement needed.
Travis_style is what this is? TravisPicking is with a thumb pick and palm muting I think?
No sir. Travis picking, named after the guitarist Merle Travis, is a style of fingerpicking for the guitar. It involves using the thumb to play a steady alternating bass pattern on the lower strings, while the fingers pick out a melody or a chordal accompaniment on the higher strings. This technique creates a full and rhythmic sound that can simulate multiple instruments being played at once. Here's a basic breakdown of the technique: 1. The thumb alternates between bass notes, typically played on the sixth, fifth, and fourth strings. 2. The index and middle fingers pick the melody or harmony notes on the higher strings. 3. The picking pattern is often syncopated, meaning the rhythm is varied and not strictly on the beat. 4. Travis picking is adaptable to different chords and melodies, making it versatile for various songs. It's a fundamental style in many genres, especially in folk, country, and blues music, and is known for its rhythmic drive and melodic versatility.
WTF, that was worthless. I know what is wrong but the shape or length of my bones and skin thickness is the issue.
as long as you think there’s something wrong with your anatomy, you won’t get it. Practice this and you will get it.
Good stuff. Too bad I didn't see this last year.

Teach can rock too!
Awesome job brother, move so fast I couldn't even see your fingers.😮😮
Thanks 👍🙏
Way better than me....good choice
ninja hack :)
Denis, this post is because of you! Thank you for reminding me about this. I sent you an email.
Thank you so much for making this this is the first guitar tip video I’ve seen in a long time that gave me an actually useful trick. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@yourguitarsage NP. You should do video on fretting single notes. When I did this for first time i was floored. I just curled last knuckle and lightly putted finger on guitar, note was clear. Works best if guitar neck is elevated.
The stranger there among them had a minor? 🤨
Just had to buy in. Looking forward to the insights and training!
Bravoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
🙏
Parece arrrebentou vazouuuu genteeee
Thanks, friend.
UAUUUUUUUUUUUUARRREBENTOUUUUUU
😀😀😀
Taylor is still cuter, but you can play her music!
The last slide of the solo form 3rd fret to 5th fret is another guitar in the original recording, you should not be playing that. Jokes aside yours is a very good rendition of the original solo
😜Thanks, friend. 🙏🙏🙏
China Made guitar is getting better and better
The pick up sounds like mic
So good!
wow, actually helped, thanks bro
Glad it helped
One thing I've found, especially playing an F chord on something with thicker strings like an acoustic guitar, is that making sure the knuckle closest to my hand lands right on the first string (high E). If I do that, I get a clean bar chord every time. But I'm going to give the tricks in this video a try and see how things go - thanks!
Wow this is great. Don't think I'm gonna be able to get the strumming down but I'll try. Like you said, practice. Thank You!
Good tip on the anchor finger(s).
always a pleasure.
What does the guitar need to be tuned to? What key?
Yeah and sounds fake too.
Thanks, friend! If you don’t think I really played it, then I’ve succeeded to execute it well.
@@yourguitarsage No, i know you did, but listen to the song in reduced speed. There are some important details that you have left out and it makes it instantly recognizable. Cheers!
All that extra hand movement is not at all good technique.
😂 by all means, show us how to do it. Plenty of talkers on the Internet.
@@yourguitarsage See at ~9:00
That was my video. Great job.
@@yourguitarsage Sorry, but I’m not sure what you meant. Did you mean “the same as my video” ? Thank you for the compliment !
Thank you .
You are welcome!
Keep playing through mistakes helped me a lot, also don’t worry about muting strings at the beginning.
Cheers, me oul segocia.😂
❤
Pure Happiness listening to those clean strums ❤
This is hilarious. 5 bucks says he’s high or had a few beers. Ha. He’s a little more polished today. Very good player. Great teacher. Seems like a cool dude.

What pedals/effects you used to nail this piece?
Thank you very much for the guitar lesson.. has such a good beat.. and a lot of Rythem.. great teaching..👍🎸
I've tried playing this song on several different guitars, several different tuning options, looked at several different lessons, im doing the exact same note, and I can not get the simple A sharp to sound right, I've tried, many different things, many different days and I can't get a single note to sound right, how on earth do you tune that guitar??
Love it ❤, if possible could you do money for nothing next?
Screwdriver? Just so there is no more initial confusion, the one tool.younalways take is an axe. Period.
